Mormon (LDS) church in Oakland, CA in black and white with digital infrared special effects. What appears to be a giant planet in the left background is actually an artifact of the process influenced by upper atmosphere moisture bounded by a passing jet's vapor trail.
About Samuel Sheats
I've been into science and nature since a kid and a photographer for over 50 years. While still primarily interested in aircraft and exotic cars, I've more recently gotten into birds and insects -- especially the wonderful world of bees, hummingbirds, and other pollinators. In all cases, I want to present these subjects in a way that moves those who normally wouldn't be interested to become motivated enough to explore them on their own.
