About Samuel Sheats
I've been into science and nature since a kid and a photographer for over 50 years. While still primarily interested in aircraft and exotic cars, I've more recently gotten into birds and insects -- especially the wonderful world of bees, hummingbirds, and other pollinators. In all cases, I want to present these subjects in a way that moves those who normally wouldn't be interested to become motivated enough to explore them on their own.

This is one of the most fantastic pavement paintings I have ever seen Samuel. Making it a favorite and giving it a vote.
Samuel Sheats replied:
thanks a bunch, Pamela. Looking forward to the "rainy season" so I can find more of these.
Samuel Sheats
Thanks. We had a shorter rainy season here in the SF Bay area than normal, so I have to wait a few months before I get more opportunities to add to my collection. My dedicated www.asphaltnebula.com website will no longer be hosted on iPage, so I expect it will be down for at least a week before I can regroup/reconstruct a site elsewhere.
