About Samuel Sheats
I've been into science and nature since a kid and a photographer for over 50 years. While still primarily interested in aircraft and exotic cars, I've more recently gotten into birds and insects -- especially the wonderful world of bees, hummingbirds, and other pollinators. In all cases, I want to present these subjects in a way that moves those who normally wouldn't be interested to become motivated enough to explore them on their own.

Thanks. It was really late in the afternoon and the light was coming from a low-hanging sun directly astern of the car. I'm beginning to note just how much the position of the light source influences the outcome of my digital processing.
